obviously not acting well with the self timer of my camera!

Recently I marked the 22nd appearance day of my life, more like I survived 8040 days according to Earth’s revolutions.
I am pretty sure we all have experienced a rush of wishes on our birthday. From the people who matter the most to the people who we barely talked to the whole year. Birthdays are like a reminder to the people we know, like a ‘hey I’m still alive’. It might sound mean, yet my brain tells me that it’s a true fact. No need to burden the guilt of typing words that might not favor everyone right!

But being far away alone on your birthday is onerous yet tranquil.

Plausibly, now that I strongly believe that everyone in their life should have a solo trip at least once in their life. I am not speaking the language of bloggers or any travel influencers but the language of my own thoughts, which have driven me to write this blog and let my thoughts clear out what exactly I am thinking through.

To clear out some context, the flickering and impromptu me planned to go off somewhere away from daily chores and land in an unexplored place in between anonymous people. The best fact to cherish is if you are in a new city where no one knows you, you know no one. That’s what keeps the graph of overwhelmingness constant and the figure of quoting ‘thank yous’ a bit less.

I took a solo trip to Isha Foundation, just a visitor. Rest stays serenely experienced within me. I tried jotting down the experience but I belied my words. I have never experienced the lucidness of just being. I reached there early in the morning, the perfect time to devour the aura. Honestly, my words won’t do the least justice to what one can experience by being there, especially the kund snanam. Even the devi prasadam felt heavenly.

Nope, I ain’t a kid who believes in the whole concept of god, but I sure do believe in the energies. Anyway, next time when someone asks me to suggest a plan for their birthday, I’d gladly suggest getting the bags packed, going to a new place, and exploring that world. I have a lot more to amaze you with.

A note — always do mention to your parents, siblings, or friends that you are out on a solo trip and specify the location.
